Asbestos Worker Supervisors take charge of the day-to-day operations of the abatement site and ensure the security of the work area. They keep up with federal, State and local removal or reduction requirements and work in cooperation with building owners, consultants and air-monitoring technicians to meet construction deadlines safely and efficiently.
Hourly Wage: $16.00 -$37.00
Skills - Schedule and oversee the work of others - Understand and use blueprints, drawings or other detailed instructions - Stay calm in emergencies Training/Requirements - High school diploma preferred - Hazardous Waste Worker Certificate from an EPA approved school. - Experience doing asbestos removal work
