Quality Control Engineers develop, apply and maintain quality control standards for processing materials into partially finished or finished products. Engineers design and implement methods and procedures for inspecting, testing, and evaluating the precision and accuracy of the production equipment and equipment used in the testing and inspection. They prepare documentation for inspection, testing procedures to assure that products comply with company and regulatory practices. Engineers may also conduct company training or supervise quality control efforts.

Skills/Knowledge -- Knowledge of statistical flow diagrams and process flow diagrams. -- Familiarity with regulations pertaining to good manufacturing and good laboratory practices. Training/Requirements -- BS or MS degree in engineering or the biological sciences. -- Possess up to two to five years of quality control experience.
