Chemical Waste Disposal Workers collect, transport, prepare and dispose of waste chemicals, fuels, propellants, explosives, and contaminated materials. They do emergency responses and clean up and contain spills. They perform tasks and prepare reports following local, State, federal and employer regulations.

Skills: - Recognize and identify hazardous waste - Maintain records required by regulatory agencies - Work cooperatively as a team member - Work efficiently using safety rules for hazardous materials handling - Drive forklifts, heavy trucks and operate heavy equipment Training/Requirements: - A.A. Degree, certificate or equivalent experience in Environmental Hazardous Material Technology or Environmental Technology - Hazardous Waste Worker Certificate from an EPA-approved school
